Since 1936 Texas Discovery Gardens has been a fixture at Fair Park for all to enjoy. With over 7.5 acres nestled within Fair Park, many consider Texas Discovery Gardens a hidden gem of Dallas. Featuring not only our world-famous Sammons butterfly house, but lush gardens planted with native Texas plantings, ponds and fountains, our huge lobby axolotl tank, the Grand Allee with a fantastic fountain, and more. The Grand Hall has a spectacular view of the circular lawn with a waterfall and the historic Portland Cement House from the 1936 World’s Fair in the background. Take a stroll before finding your seats in the Grand Hall for the fantastic jazz event. Martha and her band will be ready to kick off a fantastic evening of jazz at 7:00 PM.
