Event Details
Join us each Saturday in June and July from 9am until 2pm for Lagoon Days, a series of free programs for children and adults! Each week will feature kid’s crafts, art workshops for teens and adults, yoga, music and movement classes for toddlers, instrument building, drum circles, bird watching, puppet shows, lawn games, food trucks, and more! See below for our schedule.
Recess Cart - 9am
Get creative, read a book, or play a game! The Recess Cart offers free board games, books, and art supplies every Saturday. There's something fun for all ages!
Toddler Time - 10am
Join Gymboree Play & Music every Saturday morning in July for outdoor musical fun intended for toddlers ages one to four. This activity is free and open to the public.
Kids Crafts - 11am
Visit the Leonhardt Lagoon every Saturday for an hour of free crafting for kids! Different crafts each week led by Creative Arts Center of Dallas, Oil and Cotton, and Camp Crafty Parties. This, and all Lagoon Days activities, are free and open to the public.
Puppet Shows - 12pm (special dates)
Enjoy free puppet shows led by The Dallas Puppet Theater under shady trees next to the Leonhardt Lagoon.

Drum Circles & Instrument Craft - 12pm (special dates)
Find your rhythm at Drum Circles, where all ages and skill levels are welcome. Afterward, stick around for an Instrument Petting Zoo and Craft where kids can learn about string instruments and make one themselves! Led by StringRise. This, and all Lagoon Day activities, are free and open to the public.
