Event Details

On Tuesday, November 17, at 10 a.m., the African American Museum will hold a ceremony at the museum to rename two stretches of Fair Park streets in honor of two men who gave a great deal to this community. We are writing to invite you to take part.

A portion of Pennsylvania Avenue will become Richard Knight Jr. Boulevard, honoring Richard Knight Jr. A portion of Grand Avenue will become Harry Robinson Jr. Way, honoring Harry Robinson Jr. Their biographies are attached with this letter.
Guests will board trams at the museum at 10 a.m., ride to each sign, and return to the museum for the main program.
