Fair Park is a 137-year-old, 277-acre public park that was built as a celebration of all things Texas. Fair Park is firmly secured in the annals of history as a National Historic Landmark and the site of the Texas Centennial Exposition in 1936 and the annual State Fair of Texas. Today, Fair Park is a cultural campus, rich with art deco architecture, year-round museums and performance venues, and a host of annual events and festivals.
Fair Park’s next phase is driven by the 2020 Fair Park Master Plan Update with a focus on making the campus more of a daily destination with added greenspaces, connectivity, and activity. Fair Park’s future is driven by the generosity of our supporters and donors. Your support will go to work immediately to protect, preserve, and purposely enhance this Dallas icon.
